CF members in Afghanistan and Somalia received letters on Christmas Day from approximately 300 students from Brooklyn Elementary School in Hants County. In celebration of the Canadian Navy Centennial (CNC), The Naval Officers Association of Canada (NOAC) in conjunction with the CNC Committee, has organized a contest for Canadian students in grades 9 to 12.
